Tight muscles, chronic aches and pains, anxiety, stress, and other imbalances are effectively treated with cupping.  Suction cups (either glass or silicone) are used to remove tension from the tissues, relax the muscles, encourage lymphatic drainage, and release toxins and heat that accumulate in organs and body. Cupping is highly effective in moving pathogens from the lungs during seasonal colds and flus.

It is important to understand that all matter including our bodies, and internal organs have vibrational energy.  A  sound bath aids the body into quickly attuning to the vibrations of optimal physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health and aids in a sense of grounding to Mother Earth.  

Denise Marie Estrada uses the highest quality glass crystal and metal bowls, chimes, gongs and infra-tonic frequencies. Often chakra toning is added or the patient may participate in chanting.

Gua Sha is a Chinese Medicine modality used to release toxins in the blood and lymph by applying pressure to the surface of the body using a smooth-edged tool.  The treatment stimulates the flow of vital energy and blood through the body.  It is highly effective in reducing severe acute pain in the muscles.  

It is normal that the skin might develop a deep redness or even purple bruise effect after a session.  This is the skin's normal response to the treatment and usually will fade in a day or two. 

In some instances, Gua Sha may be used as an alternative to cupping.

Another highly effective non-needle service is tuina.  Tuina is similar to massage in that  manual manipulation is used to aggressively support the movement of qi through the meridians 

Denise will recommend other simple modalities you can do at home such as Epson Bath/essential oil soaks, yoga asana for recovery, hydration, cleansing, and plant-based dietary considerations.
